Clay, limestone and gravel soil for the Cabernet Sauvignon. Clay soil with rocks for the Merlot. Destemming and separate winemaking for each grape. Traditional maceration: 7 to 12 days at a maximum temperature of 26°C. 100% of the blending is aged in oak barrels (new and up to four years old), 80% American and 20% French for seven months. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.TASTING NOTES
Intense ruby color with purple hints. Elegant and complex with aromas of ripe black fruits, blackcurrant combined with spicy notes such as licorice and vanilla. A well-balanced wine with smooth tannins and a long finish, on cacao notes. Best served at 63°F with red meat, pastas, cheeses and barbecues.
