Grapes are hand-harvested: Cabernet Sauvignon between April 14th –18th; Syrah on April 22nd: Malbec on May 3rd and Carmenére on May12th, 2015. After a gentle crush, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is blended and aged in French and American oak (90/10) for approximately five months prior to bottling.TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby color. Intense and concentrated black berries accented by baking spices, cedar, and vanilla. Full bodied with ripe black cherries, black plums, licorice, vanilla, with ripe sweet tannins, and an opulent yet elegant structure. Well-matched with red meats, grilled and barbecued dishes, duck breast, hearty casseroles or stews, pastas, and flavorful hard cheeses.
