Jean-Claude Mas, independent winemaker, fourth generation grape grower, first generation winemaker and owner of Domaines Paul Mas, is a leader in fine winemaking in the Languedoc region of the South of France. Since taking the helm of the family winery in 2000, he has prioritized sourcing the highest quality grapes from twelve privately owned estates and premier growers in the Languedoc to make wines of authenticity and refinement. Vines grow on limestone soils with gravel. Destemming. No skin contact. The grapes are gently pressed with a pneumatic press. The must is filtered and fermentation takes place. 5% of the wine is fermented and aged in oak barrels during three months.TASTING NOTES
Bright, pale lemon color. The nose is complex with notes of fresh asparagus and herbaceous aromas combined with hints of tropical fruits aromas. Medium-bodied, this zesty wine reveals aromas of grapefruits with elegant undertones of tropical fruits. Best served at 50°F with seafood, salads, pasta dishes or as an aperitif.
