A deep purple red with ruby tints, a powerful nose which is complex with notes of flowers, plums, mocha, and black currant. Well-balanced and smooth, a long and rich finish with flavors of dark red fruits, cocoa, and licorice. A great match for ham and roasted red meats. Also goes well with an array of spicy cuisine such as fajitas, steak tacos, and barbecued pork or chicken; also is a match for strong cheeses and chocolate cake.
