BLANC DE NOIRS
100% Pinot Noir
Anne and Jean-Christophe Gremillet
The Gremillet family have been winegrowers since the 18th century. In 1979, Jean-Michel Gremillet decided to create the family’s own Champagne. His first endeavors were in the export market, with a particular focus on the diplomatic network: a sector which continues to show us its trust, with no fewer than 50 French Embassies and Consulates around the world choosing Gremillet for their prestigious receptions.
Jean-Michel’s dream is now a reality, as both his children, Jean-Christophe and Anne, have joined the company with their respective spouses Karine and Stephane. The family is incredibly proud of their accomplishments and are working hard together to continue the success of the venture.WINEMAKING & VINTAGE NOTES
Blending of four to five vintages, 20% of reserve wine. Only the cuvee (first press) enter into the composition of this champagne. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel temperature controlled tanks. Brut dosage at 9 g/l with a “liqueur d’expédition” coming from finished bottles of Champagne. The champagne is aged a minimum of 30 months.TASTING NOTES
Elegant pale golden color with hints of amber, bright, luminous and limpid. A creamy mousse rim with fine bubbles. A delightful nose, an abundance of fruit and sun. The Pinot Noir reveals its full pallet of aromas, especially quince embellished with fine spicy almost peppery notes. Rich, full-bodied and voluptuous on the palate.
Accompanies equally well a roast sea bass, a filet of venison as a warm fruit tart with caramelized fruit.
