Frédéric Mairesse is an expert connoisseur of Champagne houses and wine. An INSEAD business school graduate, he spent several years at Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné and at the Châtea La Lagune as Managing Director. This position offered him privileged insight into the making of La Chapelle, the famous Hermitage wine named best wine on several occasions.
Previously, he spent 12 years overseeing projects in the leading Champagne houses. As Production Director, from vine to dispatch, for Maison Pommery, he also supervised part of the Operation Department for Ruinart and Veuve Clicquot (LVMH). His career as a wine engineer began during the two years he spent with Lanson/Pommery (Danone), then with Seagram, working on the Mumm and Perrier Jouët brands for five years.
