Owned by the Serguier family, Domaine des Bouzons is a 6th generation winery which encompasses thirty hectares of vines in the Gard area of the Rhone Valley, across the river from Avignon & Chateauneuf du Pape. The average vine age is nearly fifty years old. The landscape is dominated by hilly terrain covered in galets or large round stones that take full advantage of the sun and the Mistral, a fierce dry wind that keeps the vines healthy and helps the family to practice organic wine production.
