Gerin’s facilty is located in the heart of the vineyards of Côte-Rôtie near the village of Ampuis in the hamlet of Verenay.

Domaine Jean-Michel Gerin was created in 1983 with vines inhertited from his father and his grandfather.

Today the estate covers nearly 12Ha, and both sons Michael and Alexis have joined Team Gerin. The adventure continues.

Vinification
Pneumatic press. Alcoholic fermentation started in Stainless Steel vats and finished in Demi-muids (500 L cask).
Oak Ageing: 100% in Demi-muids during 10 months.

Color
Rich golden color.

Bouquet
Powerful perfume and heady notes of Jasmin flowers mingling with apricot blossom and honeycomb.

Taste
The texture is highly viscous to the point of being almost oily. Unctuous and full body on the palate. Explosion of compote of citrus and apricot fruit quickly followed by some granitic minerality. The acidity balances perfectly the experience. Gorgeous and sensuous wine.
