55% Garnacha, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah
Grapes are picked over an extended period. 3 selections: vineyard, triage, de-stemming.
3 styles of fermentation ; Steel vats. The older the vines the smaller the vats. 3 weeks maceration for all vines. 4 weeks for younger vines. The wine was matured 12-16 months in oak barrels (85% French and 15% American).
Dark, almost opaque, deep red.
Fresh, captivating floral aroma, mingled with notes of red berry fruit.
Expressive; reminiscent of ripe plums, strawberries and citrus fruit; well balanced, with delicate tannins and well0integrated wood; hints of licorice, wild herbs and minerals are present in a stylish, lasting finish.
