Classified as Médoc Cru Bourgeois, Château Greysac has been a member of the elite Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux since 1982. Today, its full-bodied, well-structured wines are synonymous with classic Bordeaux at an affordable price. The Château’s characteristic style is indeed one of great aromatic finesse, combined with precise, sumptuous fruit flavors that develop in elegance and complexity over time.
Château Greysac, located in the Médoc hamlet of Begadan, north of St. Estèphe, was built in the 1700s. For many years, the property belonged to the late Baron François de Gunzburg. In 1975, the property was sold to the Agnelli family, which transformed the estate and its winemaking capabilities significantly. Château Greysac was purchased by Jean Guyon, owner of Domaine Rollan de By, in 2012 joining their exciting portfolio of Bordeaux wines.

Grape Varieties
70% Cabernet Sauvignon - 30% Cabernet Franc

Maceration from 24h to 48h. Cold stabilization and release of lees twice daily for 10 days.
Alcoholic Fermentation at low temperature (15 - 16°c)
Maturing on lees for three months with resuspension of the lees weekly.

Notes of white fruits including jostle pear, apricot, melon and citrus dominated by aromas of ripe strawberry, and scent of candied citrus peel.
